It has been a really busy year so far, so here are the last few things we have been up to.
The KKF Team :-)
A MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO DAWN WARD
Hello everyone
I hope you have been enjoying the summer, so far. We seem to be experiencing odd weather fronts at the moment, but we did have a spectacular June. I hope you all enjoyed the lovely weather.
We have been welcoming a number of visitors, on site, to see our programme in action, and they have all been very inspired by our work! We will also be partnering with other alternative provision providers, during the summer, to work with them from September.
This week will be our final week to deliver sessions, for this academic year, and we would like to thank all our partner schools, families and young people for working with us and supporting us. Our team remain dedicated to our programme, throughout the academic year, and always try to take their breaks during the school breaks to keep our team working at full capacity.
Thank you to all our working partners and funding partners for your continuing support of our work. It truly is appreciated by all concerned and makes a positive difference to our young peopleβs lives.
A further reminder that if anyone is able to raise funds for us, through charity events of any description, then please do let us know and we can provide marketing items for you. If you know of any businesses, or your own workplace that would like to support us, or make us their Charity of the Year to support, then please let me know by emailing me at : info@kendleshirekidsfoundation.org
Sincere thanks to the three lovely people who have recently collected donations for us and provided a multitude of golf clubs β more about that below!
If you can, please do support our Charity Golf Day, on 30th August. Please do contact me or complete the entry form attached. We are welcoming teams from schools and any of our working partners or funding organisations. Those from funding organisations should contact me, in the first instance, to understand a different way to enter, subject to funding received.
We hope you have an amazing time, during the rest of the summer, and we look forward to catching up with you in September. Our delivery sessions will begin again on Saturday 8th September, for the Saturday group, and Monday 11th September for the Monday group.
Signing off until next time!
Dawn Ward

WESPORT
Caleb visited from our partners Wesport, to see our team in action :-)
It was someones 9th Birthday
In June, our very own Arthur's birthday so we treated the whole group to a buggy trip around the golf course, birthday cakes and a present. It was a great day had by all, as the weather stayed dry for us and we caught a Pokemon or two.
A wonderful lady from Almondsbury had a random encounter with one of the Kendleshire Golf Clubs members and found out about The KKF charity. She kindly donated her late husbands golf clubs and equipment to the charity for the young people to use or sell to raise funds. Thank you Linda Fisher. We really really appreciate the kind donation :-)
Street Games have now provided the impact report for the Ministry of Justice project, from the Youth Justice Sports Fund, for the 220 projects who took part (KKF being one of them). Please take a look at the link below to read this report. Sadly, there was no further funding available to continue the great work started.

We joined one of our working partners, β Suicide Prevention UK , SPUK - Suicide Prevention UK Charity 1187866 for their charity ball at The Kendleshire. A fantastic evening was had by all, raising brilliant funds for their important work, in both our local area and nationally. Well done to their office manager, Jess, for the incredible work you did to make this happen and all the work you do for this brilliant charity! We are proud to be partnered with you at Kendleshire Kids Foundation! Thanks to The Kendleshire Golf Club for supporting our partners with their work.
You can make a difference :-)
